Another vote for the 6900 - arguably the most classic of three classics.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

I prefer the 6600. Just not a fan of the eyes. That is what has been stopping me from getting the GW-9100.

Does the DW6900 come in white (other than the extremely hard to find and often faked BAPE model)?

Not as a regular model, no.

This one has got to be a FAPE, right?

I'd go for either than the DW-6600 or the DW-6900. Both are great watches. It's just a matter of which module features that you prefer. The DW-6900 has a basic module similar to a DW-5600E in function. The DW-6600 has a rather unusual module with a cool. Target Time feature.

There are a couple of white limited edition DW-6900's currently on the market. No white DW-6600's that I know of.

    DW-6900R-7

    DW-6900CS-7

Cool beans - can you tell me more about this Target Time feature?

You can set an alarm to go off, when the stopwatch reaches a certain amount of elapsed time. This is the Target Time. It's kind of like a reverse countdown timer. Sort of a "count-up timer".

I is a very useful feature. Say that you want to know how long it takes to cook some new brand of spaghetti. Just set your Target Time to whatever the spaghetti box says is the cook time. When the Target Time alarm goes off, test the spaghetti. If it still needs more cooking time, cook until done. When the spaghetti is done, stop the stopwatch for the actual cooking time. You can't really do this with a normal countdown timer, as the CDT would have stopped when the time reached 0, or started over again.

Crystal clear, Buzz, thanks for the explanation. Any other models you know of that have this feature?
