I would go with the 6600, as it was my first g-shock ever. Wonder whatever happened to that thing. Anywho, now I am inspired to buy it again. :)

i would go with DW9052. actually, i would rather have a DW9000 because of the plastic flips on each lugs which kinda stablize the watch on the wrist. a DW9052 has much bigger buttons than the rest of the 2, it has a 24hr CDT as well.

i really like the DW6900, but the strap never really fit right for my wrist size

i like the look of DW6000 and its one of the brightest EL i've seen but it only has a 60 min CDT

    Welcome to the forum, hector!
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

    Hi

The plain black 6900, a classic. The next G on my list too. Hard to get in the UK so I'll have to order from the bay from the far east.

I've seen a few subtle variations of the black colour scheme too.

    Regards

    Matt

Just picked up a 6900G and don't like the look nearly as much as the 6600. My old 6600 from the early 90's is the best, with the smoother resin bezel/band and it has been broken in well. Plus it's bright!

The GW-9010 Rally Timer. I think that the Rally Timer function actually was inspired by the target time function of the DW-6600. Other than that I don't know of any G that has this feature.

    The DW-6900 also has a 24hrs CDT.

Doesn't really matter though 'cause it has the "target time" like Buzzbait explained which can be set for up to 23hrs 59min 59sec. So the DW-6600 is the only G I know of except for the GW-9010 that can be used to time two independent events at the same time (with a beeper) - one reason why the DW-6600 is my favorite old-school G. It also has bigger digits and a nicer display design IMO.

    Greetings, Sedi

    I'd say the 6900. (3 eyed monster)

Not certain how to say it, but the display just seems to "fit".
