    oops... ruined a baby.... lol.

    yoh guys...

i'm having my A levels this year so i'm pretty messed up with my time and schedule... no free time at all... lol...

but... haha, still got time to play with casios... lol...

just, dug out a baby G file as my sis said she don't want it anymore, no battery, went to buy a cr1616. then...

opened it up... wanna change batt.... then see see, ah, why not inscribe a 'stussy' logo on the lcd??? cool... there goes my project.

sourced for a piece of plastic, wrote the logo, the bad part comes in...

took out the LCD display... phew... takes time and precision...
then stuff the logo on the backlght...

just when i wanna clip the LCD back... '
    SNAP!!!

a big " OH MY GOD happened!!!" hahhaa.... i snapped the fitting connectors of the LCD!!!

but the LOGO goes on normal, it do look nice though...

i drew the logo on a piece of film... haihz...

sad life... asking the local casio for another module...

wanted a brother and sister watch... lol...

Looks good, have you tried super glue to fix the lcd down??

Is there a "how to" guide anywhere as I'm wanting to make a nintendo or adidas themed backlight but i dont know how to make the backdrop and I'm not the best artist in the world

It's not hard to do. Taking everything apart is the hardest part and that's not even that hard :-D You have print the logo on a clear film. I've tried it on paper, not transparent enough The film needs to go inbetwwen the EL panel and the LCD dispaly. I'll do a "How to...." when I have time to open my GW-2300 again :-D

    erm, cmoy...

i wonder, how do you take out the lcd screen and replace the lcd screen back PROPERLY???

i took out the piece of glass like material, there's 2 rubber-like thingie on both top and bottom, with the plastic movement ring on top.

i used a tweezer to loosen the spring on top, then i got the top part of the lcd out, the bottom is just a slight force, then it's out d...

but when i put it in, there's no space for me to slip the glass in... then i just force force force... hahha.... not so much force larh, but i tried to snap it in then

    'KLAK'...

the the lcd wasa i place, but the screen came out with no minutes and no G symbol... haha...

    that's why i said i ruined it...
