    Opinions on 5600ms module swap

I really like the dw5600e but don't care for the colors on the crystal.
If this one had current time in all modes it would be perfect for me.

But it doesn't. So I purchased a new 5600ms and a used 5600e and swapped the module. I'm still on the fence on how I like it.

    Looks very good!!!!

Much more subtle than a DW-5600E. Subtle almost like a GW-5000 or GW-5600.

I agree it does look good.

Personally I would experiment with using a DW-5600E strap, instead of the DW-5600MS strap, I think that could make a positive difference.

I like it -- definitely "stealthier," and I agree that a DW-5600E type strap (without printing) would probably make it even more so!

I like it! Put on a GW-5000 strap and it will be very comfortable.

    Haha, "positive" difference ; )
Yes, the dw5600e strap is more comfortable. And I'm not a big fan of the writing either.
I will use strap one off the g5600 since I changed it back to the stock white bezel and strap. Pics to come after I swap it.

I really like it - I bought a used DW5600CL to do the same... Just looking for a cheap DW5600E as a donor.

    Thanks.
The DW5600E looks and feels better IMO. However, I chose not to use the DLC buckle because it was a little to wide.

Re: Opinions on 5600ms module swap

Looks great. I usually prefer the MS screens over the normal ones but find the MS LCD far too difficult to see. I have a GW-M5600-1ER in a GW-M5600-MS case and bezel that I vastly prefer to the original ER version.

Also your watch looks better on the plain strap.

I hadn't realised that the MS version had black buttons, screws and buckle. Well done Casio for attention to detail on that one.
