    Opinions please

    Hi Guys.
Looking at getteing a Protrek / Pathfinder watch.
Main things I'm after are :
    Black
    Compass
    Solar
    Not too huge
And price not excedding High $200's

    I've narowed it down.

Basically comes to availability and what I can afford.
    • PRG-130GB-1V (This one seems hard to get)
    • PRG130T-7VDR (seems I can get this, are the bands interchage able like the above watch)
    • PRG-80YT-1V (Same as above)

    • PAW1300G-1V, atomic updates is no biggy as it's very hard to get this to work in Australia..
Also any one got wrist shots of either of these

My favorite that fits your criteria just arrived yesterday. Hope to have photos tomorrow at the latest: Pathfinder PAW1300Y-1VCR. Wears smaller than many G-Shocks, but doesn't look small. Looks great on the wrist! I love the negative display! Solar, atomic, compass. Clear, crisp display. Very comfortable rubbery strap. Looks commando/military. Borrowed pic for now

I'm a fan of the 1300G IV -- and would be even if there were no atomic synchronization. It is light; has a big, bold very legible display; it has a ton of functions. The supplied strap is very comfortable and, because it is constructed with "adapters" built in, you can readily swap out the strap and use a zulu or other strap that you might prefer.

Thanks for the great pictures and info. Of particular value to me was learning about it being equipped with adapters.

Now I'm definitely going to look into one of these.... heck who am I kidding? It's already on my next up for purchase list...ha..ha..ha...
