Question option A or option B? Your opinion please...

    Hi folks,
    here is the situation:
I have put my beloved green GWG Mudmaster for sale, and when it's sold i have 2 scenario's on what to buy, both scenario's include a square.

    Option A:
    buy a GW-M5610
    Name: GW-M5610-1ER.jpg
Views: 618
Size: 33.2 KB

and the new GAW-100-1AER or GAW-100B-1AER
    Name: GAW-100-1AER.jpg
Views: 614
Size: 43.4 KBName: GAW-100B-1AER.jpg
Views: 615
Size: 37.3 KB

This would scratch the itch for both a square and a analog/anadigi...

    or

    Option B:
    buy a GW-5000-1JF
    Name: download (8).jpg
Views: 578
Size: 9.1 KB
This would obvious scratch the itch for a screwback.

Both options cost +/- the same. With option A i get 2 watches, and i like the look of the 5610 slightly better than the 5000. Option B gives me the desired screwback, where the SS DLC case is "beauty from the inside. What is your opinion?

    Thanks for reading!
    Kind regards,
    Ben

This question when posed at this Forum is like asking a parent to decide which child is your favourite.

I'll save up some more and get all three!!!!

The purists here will probably lean toward Option B, but I'd go Option A with the all-black GAW-100.

Edit: If you need to read the LCDs, I'd go with the silver/positive GAW-100 rather than the black/negative. BTW, do these have LCD illumination?

the subdials also light up, i much prefer tha all black as well. It reminds me of my AWG-M100B-1AER, my only 2 peeves with that watch are that the watch is too small and no light in the subdials. Casio fixed my peeves. My ex still wears the AWG

Option B as I despise the GAW series. The little bitty windows suck rocks, IMHO. There are far, Far better ani-digi G-Shocks. For example the discontinued GW-2500 is still available preowned and it is solar-atomic too.

i like the red striping and how close it looks like the first G from 1983, the 5000 has a more "monochrome" look to it. Seiya is too expensive for the 5610, i can buy it here for about 110€, without the import hassle, declaration costs, import fees and VAT. Chino is also cheaper for the 5000

Yes, I have an AWG-M100A-1A (blue bezel, negative LCDs). Looks cool, but the LCDs are hard to read except in bright light, and unreadable at night due to the lack of illumination.
