    Ordering watches from the US

    Hi all.

I've ordered a Watch from an online site in the States, but am a bit concerned now, after reading a few horror stories,of Watches being stolen, going missing, or just never turning up.In your experiences, is this a common occurance? And if this does happen, are there a few avenues you can explore, before you write off the money and put it down to experience?

    Cheers for any advice

I've ordered watches from all over the world as well as the US. I have never had a problem and find that watches from the US usually arrive between 1 - 2 weeks.

Don't worry it will be fine.

What site did you order from?

    Watches are frickin evil!

    Cheers, hoochy.

I ordered from casiosalesandservice.com.I asked on here about them, and everyone said they'd had no problems with them, although I think all the replies were from Stateside Members.Maybe I'm worrying unduely, but I don't seem to have a tracking number, and they say their e-mail replies can take up to 10 days, due to being so busy!

Guess this adds to the excitement!

I have had watches come from the states before too without any problems, in fact I have 2 due to arrive within the next week from the good 'ol U.S, save a fortune too compared to U.K prices.
    Real men don't need instructions.

Casiosales and service are a solid company but post from the states is slow.

It's all part of the rich tapestry of being an international watch hunter!

Enjoy this part because an hour after it arrives you'll be after the next one!

Yes, thats true. Why is the range of G-shocks so poor in the UK? Given that so may people seem to ship from abroad, it seems crazy

Re: Ordering watches from the US

Nearly all of my watches have come from far-flung places. I had one stolen coming from Hong Kong (I suspect it was stolen once it reached the UK), but the USA ones have all arrived in good order. To be honest, I hardly pay attention to where I'm buying things from these days. If the price is right, I buy. There's as much chance of a parcel being stolen within a country as there is of one coming from abroad.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

I've got about 3 watches from that site and I recommend them 100%

Also a few here have that ref timer ( lexxorcist ) and rate it highly.

    Good luck
