    OT, Factoid

Had some minor problems with the sound system this morning, fixed it
quickly, (I've been trained !), and was reminded of an old trick we
used to use at HiFi buys. If the problem involves a IR. (Infa-Red),
remote, the remote can be tested by aiming it at a cam corder
and pressing the buttons you want to test, flip the screen towards you.
The sensor in the cam responds to the IR flicker and you can see it.
Not a biggie, but can be a handy trick.
    LL

P.S. Don't work with RF, (Radio Frequency), remotes.

Works also with the common digital cams (LCD monitoring display required)
