OT - "Formula 1: Drive to Survive"

I know many of you are Formula 1 fans. My brother mentioned to me the Netflix series "Formula 1: Drive to Survive." I love this show. The driving scenes are intense, as expected, but the real beauty of the show is that it also shows the back stories of the drivers and the racing teams. The episodes run about 36 minutes each. If you're at all interested in auto racing, check out this series (if you're not already aware of it).

I watched the first episode and enjoyed it very much.

I saw OT and cringed because I've been working so much lately.

An excellent intro to F1 world. Not overly technical and good focus on the lesser known teams.

Yep, seen all in a couple of days!

It was a great insight into the lesser seen parts of the sport.

Typically Ferrari and Mercedes obviously didn't want any part of it though!!

I find motorcycle racing far more exciting. Modern Formula 1 seems to have a lot of hype and marketing but I can't remember the last good race. Probably when Nico won as he was playing bumper cars during many races. One day I'm going to go back and see how many of the older races were good.

Looks like an interesting show even though Im not a huge F1 fan anymore. Jordan and Super Aguri were my last teams that I cheered for but HAAS is starting to get me to pay attention again. Super GT, IMSA and Indy Car are my main interests nowadays.

I've been a massive F1 fan for over 4 decades and never knew about this series! Many thanks for posting the info here, and my FireStik is going to be getting a work out soon on a bit of binge viewing!
