    Pathfinders and Scuba Diving

    hi am curious to find out if anyone uses their pathfinders for scuba diving? if so, which model?

    do u use the compass function underwater? will pressing the buttons underwater coz any leakage?

    Most if not all of the Pathfinder/Protreks are 100M water resistant. The PAW1500 is the only 200M WR Pathfinder at this time. According to the ** note in the Casio chart below, button operation underwater is permitted on all 100M+ watches where they are not countersunk.

    The SGW-100 is not a Pathfinder/ProTrek, but it has a compass and thermometer and a WR of 200M.

    However am keen to see if anyone has actually tried operating the compass underwater and had any problems with it.

    I let my friend borrow my SGW100 when he went scuba diving and he operated the buttons at roughly 100ft and the watch is still working fine
