    Playbling?

Has anybody ever tried one of these? Really funky. Some sort of crazy silicone bezel cover with integrated strap.

    Re: Playbling?

    Three older threads about Slingshox:

    https://forums.watchuseek.com/f17/sli...hy-629369.html

    https://forums.watchuseek.com/f17/sli...ne-786228.html

    https://forums.watchuseek.com/f17/mig...ne-875880.html

...and there are probably a few others!

Reviews seem to be kind of mixed, but for people who want to swap and color-coordinate their DW-6900's quickly and easily -- and like the look of oversized watches -- they might be the way to go.

(I think all of these threads are from before the "new" oversized 6900's came out -- I can't help but wonder if someone at Casio saw these and said "WE can make oversized DW-6900's too!")

    Re: Playbling?

I hadn't followed the Amazon link to "Playbling" and their webpage at http://www.playbling.com/ -- those previous links were about a VERY similar product from http://theslingshox.com/

I suspect there might be some sort of copyright lawsuit down the road....

It actually looks like a cool way of getting camo, and not having to worry about the pattern wearing off.

X-Bands seems to have much nicer designs than Slingshox. More expensive though.

I didn't look up that specific brand, but I did see some of those covers and they fit OVER the original bezel, which turned me off immediately because man they have got to be bulky

If they're a solid fit on the case & not too oversized, I'm interested. I'm about to have to buy new bezel & band for one, and figure I'll overpay & end up with ill fitting non genuine casio parts anyway. Assuming someone makes one for the gw200 style frogman.
This is now a Veda thread.

    1) They're model-specific -- right now both of the companies mentioned are making them for the relatively common DW-6900's and GA-100's. I haven't seen any for Frogmen, and based on the number Casio has sold (compared to DW-6900's) I don't expect there to be nearly as much demand.

    2) Not sure what color you want for your Frogman, but PacParts shows band and bezels for the GW-200MS-1 as "out of stock, usually ships in 2-3 weeks." http://www.pacparts.com/model.cfm?mfg=Casio&model_id=GW200MS-1&row_start=11&src_model_id=gw200&action=list_pa rt
