    Pleasant surprise - DW56RT

Just got this in the mail today and was surprised to see that the bezel and strap are the same as the GW5600J. This is a plus for me because of the longer strap.

i think that is one of casio's absolute best displays.

good to know about the interchangeability, thanks.

Is the "14" in the center section the second?

I find the DW56RT to be quite nice; generously-sized digits in the iconic square form, without the complications of solar/atomic. 'Tis a good beater watch, to be sure.

I bought one to wear at work, because of the big digits. You can easily read the time, at a glance, even at an angle.

The same can't be said of my GW-6900-sitting here at a computer with my hand on the mouse, the bezel is obscuring the time. I do know that's it's a Tuesday though

I bought it for the timer functions, but the display is a big plus. I am still surprised that they used the GW5600J bezel and strap instead of the DW5600.

Very nice! I've been considering the white version. Is the size comparable to a 5600 or smaller?
