Please help! The most featured G-Shock.

    Hello guys,
I know you are all professionals here so please help me to pick a G-Shock. Recently I purchased the Pro-Trek watch and it's what bringed me to my next G-Shock purchase. I want some serious G-Shock with most of the features available(something useful like Pro-Trek but from G-Shock family).
The most important that it must be Tough Solar. After that I would like to have an any of the available ABC features, tide graph, moon phase.... I want everything
I did some research on the forum and google but I am still sinking in amount of models and styles that G-Shocks are offerring.
So please help me to find the right watch.
Also I would like to know what is the difference between Mudman, Gulfman and Riseman series?
After some research that I did I think that this one is what I am looking for but I want to hear your opinions and other suggestions!

Wow. The information you are looking for is something you can find on every topic on the G-shock forum. A good search should narrow down the minutiae of what you are looking for.

Given your list of desirable features, I think you have chosen the only model that gets close to the ideal.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

OK, assuming that I found what I am looking for I am still curious what are the differences between Mudman, Frogman, Riseman and Gulfman series?

Half the fun is doing the research for yourself and finding the perfect one. Otherwise, its just an arranged marriage someone else has chosen for you!

I think you can cross the Riseman off your list pretty quickly! Here are the reasons why .....

    - buttons jam-up with sand & get stuck
    - cheap plastic look to bezel
    - excessive plastic contours on the bezel for no purpose
    - bulky (but in fairness just wearable) on my 6.5" wrist
    - difficult to read the time with shadows overlapping the top of the main digits

If you want tide graph, I think the GW-400 Silencer is your best option. The Silencer actually graphs the tide levels so you can see if the actual tidal track profile. You can see neap tides / dodge tides etc however many other Gs (perhaps all) just have some indicative fixed tidal curve, so all you can read is if the tide is going up or down.

Nice points! I already was sure that I am going to have one but now I will think again...
