    Police and G-Shocks.

I've noticed both in Phoenix and Las Vegas, almost every police officer I've met has worn this watch, the GW800. Does anyone know if they actually issue them? For being atomic/solar, looks like it's a steal of a deal, but if they actually issue G-Shocks, that is awesome! I noticed yesterday when two police officers showed up to an accident I was involved in. I was the car in front of a four car pileup that happened to get banged into as well. Anyway, it's nice to see Gs in possible tough situations.

I'm in Denver and was involved in a three car accident yesterday, I was in front, everybody fine. The cop was not wearing a watch at all.

Not issued. G's are just cheap tough as nails watches. Most guys I work with wear g's as well but most often you see us wearing the g that is on the "rollback" price at Walmart which ever it may be.

I've seen this exact G on three cop's wrists now. I saw another wearing a Pathfinder. I'm fine after the accident, but my GTO has the perfect imprint of a license plate in my back bumper and I can read the plate! It also ripped some holes in the bumper. The person at fault's insurance will love paying for my car. The unpainted bumper cover alone is $700.

With all the G-Shock collabs that have been jumpin off these past few years, Casio's prized watch has seen a resurgence in terms of popularity. This will spawn a plethora of customs like this one Pharrell created. Basically all he did was take two different color Bape G-Shocks, and covered them in black diamonds which is what you would expect from someone who has a gold blackberry. He did this to black G-Shock & a pink one. The black one has the BBC emblem on the back of it.
