A Power Outage and some Rit Dye....

Okay, so we had a bad storm here in the Midwest and we lost our power and I got bored. I found some taupe liquid Rit dye that I didn't know what to do with, so I decided to see what would happen if I dyed an extra yellow bezel from my "knock-around" DW-8200 Frogman. It turned out kind of an interesting reddish milk chocolate color. Kinda different, huh?

The MTG is retired and the 5600 too. Right now, the only working G-Shocks that I use and enjoy are the Riseman GW9200-1 and the GW6900-1

If I can own a Rolex Submariner I would. I know they are tough too, their homages are tough. Trust me.

Obviously, power was restored shortly after the experiment!

It pleases me to imagine you sitting in your den, gas-powered generator loudly cranking away in the background, as you post pictures of your watch on the internet.

I've posted many a time with no power. My cell phone and Tapatalk seem to work fine, even in darkness ;)
