    PRG 110-Y altomitre is way out!

    I posted this elsewhere but I'm not sure if the thread is still live.. I bought a Protrek 110-Y and it's a beauty, except that my altimeter ranges between -190 and +95 whilst in my livingroom. Is this normal? Apparently it's air pressure related so do you have to give it an altitude measurement each time you need to use it, to account for air pressure? I've followed the instructions and set altitude but it just goes nuts.. Any suggestions? Thanks

    My suggestion is, if you are looking for a stable Altitude, look somewhere else and don't ever buy a Casio. Casio ABC's lack an altimeter lock as well as sea level airpressure, both are essential for precision and stabelized readings. You might find this thread worth reading:
