    Gift PRG-80 Arrived

    And it arrived very fast. I ordered it from HK on Thursday with standard shipping, and it arrived this morning (Tuesday). The seller (WatchesDeals) had even tied a bow round the box.

    I'm sorry there's no pics yet, but my son has the only decent camera, and he's at Flamingo Land until Thursday.

    First impressions: it's big! When I first opened the box it looked a little smaller than I imagined, but when I put it on, it is BIG. It's very comforable, and I'm not dissapointed at all with it's looks. I was worried how the green would look 'in person' but it looks great.

    The barometer was the same as my local weather station and PRG-40 out of the box. It seems to have a bit more crystal protection than the PRG-40. What else can I say...

    That's it for now. I love it and I'm off to take it for a walk.

    Here's the seller's pic for now:

    Congrats Lex, great colors on it. Just out of curiosity, is it Atomic and Solar, or just solar?

    nice choice of color. i can bet it will definitely getting the most wrist time since u didnt matter it's biggest CONS, the SIZE. if u like the size, it's will be perfect.

    i tried before, it's just too big for my skinny 6in wrist. PRG-110 fit nicely thought. wear it in good health!

    @Doug,
    it's non-atomic solar protrek.
    PAW/PRW= Atomic
    PRG= Non-Atomic

    congratulations lexx,

    you just got yourself the best protrek made to date (im my humble opinion) and I'm sure you will love it even more when you have encountered what a great module it has. please be so kind and make a little thermo-compensation test when you are ready for it, queen-6, me, and I'm sure a lot of others will highly appreciate it

    regards, holger

    Just solar, Doug. I wasn't bothered about atomic on a protrek, but I think it's one of the watches where solar is most important.

    Thanks for the comments everyone, despite the current lack of pictures.

    Cal, I will do that at some point. It's not coming off my wrist at the moment though.

    £90 shipped. (That included insurance, and a promise to pay any customs charges for me)

    I just panicked thinking there was something wrong with it. I was looking at the altimeter and barometer and a pointer from the compass graphics appeared. It's the differential pointer, which I didn't realise it had. Very nice! Maybe I should read the manual some more.
