Picture PRG-80L, replacement for my PAW-1300

Decided on a PRG-80L last week as a replacement for my PAW-1300. Though the 1300 was my main watch for 1.5 years, the look always left me cold. No such problem with the PRG-80. This is my favorite of the line. Looks huge when you first see it, but wears comfortably, just enough wrist presence so you know it's there.

Considered the Suunto Vector briefly but could not get past the plastic crystal. I read a review on amazon where one guy said: "Scratching the plastic crystal is not such a huge deal. Just make sure not to wipe dust off it."

Queen6 has provided the hardcore details on the PRG-80 and other watches. I'll just say here that it's great looking as well. We'll see how it stands up over time. The strap is extremely comfortable, first cloth/faux leather Casio strap for me and I was surprised how quickly it formed to my wrist. Can't wait to get it in the water.

My all-time fav of the Pathfinder series! The Japan only prg1100 (i think that's the model #), which is a Ti/sapphire version of the 80 is also a real beauty (but some $400 more!). Great watch! Enjoy it.

Nice purchase. Thinking about getting one too. I have a new job where this will be perfect for.

Your PRG-80 looks great. What happened to your PAW-1300?

Cudos to Queen6. Your reviews on the PRG & Pathfinders are excellent and very informative. Thanks.

    Hi Angus,

I sold my 1300 awhile back. It was a great watch, zero complaints over the 1.5 years on the functionality. The look was just a bit too plain for me.
