Rolling eyes Probably a stupid question, but...

Does having the 'mute' function activated on a CASIO G-Shock conserve the battery or just run it down quicker?

Logic suggests to me that having mute on would help *conserve* energy, but I just wanted to double-check and make sure...

    (I have a GLX-5600)

    Thanks!

Makes no perceptible difference, really. The amount of energy required to make those very faint beeps when mode changing or using functions is probably too minuscule to even measure.
