    Protreks and G-shocks

Been a long time member since the PRW-1500 days when this forum got me hooked on the japanese sapphire lensed black titans. After 2008, I decided for a father's day upgrade so I have to dive back into the endless abyss of model numbers and which has sapphire glass and without starscream here to list the models for each year, id be screwed.

Anyway, i noticed there is a nice G-shock thread, but are the protrek guys sparsely spread out in this same thread? I have always leaned more of the protrek and since they started making the smaller form factor models have picked up two new models with the plan to sell one here ( when i get a post count now... good luck)

    I got the PRW-6100YT-1JF and the PRW-60FC-1AJF

To my knowledge they both have the same features except for the bands ( one being titanium and the other being the field composite) and the size

however to my surprise the PRW-6100YT-1JF seems much more expensive. Am I missing something on the difference?

Also where the heck are you supposed to get a replacement band from? Those have to be imported as well? There is a US market for the Pathfinders... you'd think there would be compatible bands.

I think 6100yt has sapphire glass while 60fc has not.

From the PRW-60 thread.. it was stated the FC model had the sapphire glass and someone even translated the Japanese on the model.

Because the thread needs to pictures...The 6100 has been my go to watch for the past three years or whenever it was released. I ordered it from Japan and paid a pretty penny for it, but it has been more than worth it.
