    PRW-1300Y-1VER Crystal Question

Hi all. Does the PRW-1300Y-1VER have a sapphire crystal or does it just use a standard mineral crystal? Also which country is the watch made in? Are there any "Made in Japan" versions out there? Thanks all

yes, i believe it's made in japan, although i wouldn't get too hung up on that. no, it's not "real" sapphire.

Hardened mineral glass, the japanese market PRW-1300YTJ-1JF has a sapphire crystal, however in the field watch this is not so desirable being more brittle.
