    A purely functional mod that ended up looking better too

    Simple mod...looks a lot better I think, the added benefit of actually being able to read the time of day at a glance, without using auto EL is nice too. The watch went from...this (borrowed pic)

    The white inner bezels are brighter than the black inner bezel models when illuminated along with the LCD, but this is the same for any mudman. I wish there were more of the white inner with positive displays. Besides the 8v, there is only the MC8 which is an endangered species.

    I changed the skin of the blue muddie to this red one, and sold the module itself. I have no use for the negative 9000 series LCD which I find to be practically invisible. I do like the color options of those models however, so I keep looking for decent used ones and then swap them around.

    I'd love to find a grey camo.
