    Put out to pasture

Hi all , I think you guys/gals might be interested in seeing what 10 years of Boiler making does to a G-Shock . I got this GA-350 brand new for about $260aud about 10 years ago and it's been my sole work watch for all that time , it gets and takes everything my work can throw at it and it just keeps on going and going , really impressive watch .

I was in the local mall last Sunday and spotted ,,,,,, a G-Shock like my old faithfull for 1/2 price $129aud so I grabbed it , and MAN I did not realise how beat up my origonal was until I looked at them side by side with the new one ,,, I just used it and it never missed a beat ! never had a battery change ,,, nothing at all , it looses about 2 seconds in 6 months , day/date is always perfect , just a great all round work watch .

    I love them .

Here is a side by side , comments welcome .

    Beanerds .

ps. the new one started work on Monday , 4 days as the old faithful has been retired .

That's a great photo, sounds like you sure got your money's worth! Could you tell us a bit more about what parts of your job caused all the damned fine and very righteous damage?

I don;t think he was trying to pull something off, simple mistake as to how long he owned it. So maybe not 10, but easily 6 years, it was released in 2013. And the watch stood up to a lot of abuse, hell the watch probably things it was 20 years

That’s not just beaten, it’s verging on destroyed.
