Question on GSTB200D-1A, keeping it 'on time'...

I've taken a real fancy to this watch, I love that the analogue display also incorporates a 'second' hand as so many don't. However, on reading the specs it doesn't appear to have MultiBand 6 time sync. I know it has BT connectivity with a SmartPhone to sync the time, but is there any way to keep it properly synced if you don not own a SmartPhone? (Obviously due to the question, you may gather I don't own one, and never will ...)

Without using the app you'll have to set it manually.

And it goes on a wishlist to some(myself) whom dont have access to MB6 and wants a fairly accurate time sync. Im lazy to even reset the time once or twice a year.

This is probably a really stupid question, but I have no ego at all LOL, so... my laptop has bluetooth built in, is there a way to sync the time using 'windows' to sync this watch?

I suspect you’ll still need the G-Shock Connected app.

You have a laptop, but refuse a smartphone? Odd line to draw...

I think as long as you can install Gshock connected app and have Bluetooth, you will be able to connect watch and sync time. For a laptop, if it’s windows, there may be a way to install android version of the Gshock app. If it’s a smartphone, definitely. If a tablet, most likely.

I've used a laptop for 20 years, but still use my trusty old Nokia 6700 slide, it can send a text, and make phone calls, and the battery lasts for 10 days LOL It can also fit securely in the corner of my pocket along with my wallet, (95mm x 46mm x 15mm). Maybe when they develop a 'smartphone that can compete with that, I may look again but I just don't fancy carrying a 'laptop' round in my pocket, not an 'odd line' at all to draw...

Stephen, sweet talk one of your pals with a smartphone to install the app and when you meet up you can sync the watch. Problem sorted.
