Rangeman proposition: make a positive green Rangeman!

Who is gonna be the first to make a positive LCD green Rangeman and post the pictures here at WUS?

I tried to do it this week the easy way...to swap bezels after obtaining 2 international Rangman. The hard way would be to disassemble a negative green and change the polarization screen over the LCD to show it's positive side.

Problem was I couldn't find a green under the countertops at many Macy's I shopped in my travels this week from Florida to nearly the Canadian border. I did see 2 black positive donors and I should probably have bought one but without a green to buy, I didn't buy a black.

So I hereby issue a challenge to anyone inclined to make a positive green Rangeman. I intend to do it but May have to purchase my victims online to succeed.

Swapping polar screen isn't too hard unless there is weird access to the lcd or some other oddity. If u have the cash of course buying two is easier. I will do the swap if someone lends the patient....

The 7900's are my favourites, although the 56s are currently my focus. But nothing is excluded, except pink Risemans.

Just pulled the trigger on my 2 Rangeman victims...1green and 1 positive black to swap bezels.

Got them in a Cyber Monday sale for $292 each shipped at Klepsoo.

The only positive display army green I am ware of are the g7900-3 and the DW-6901UD-3. Casio seems to equate military green with negative display, which would be very hard to read on ops. IMO.

There are 2 GD-100s in army green and positive display.

thank sjors - yep the PS, and for my edification, which other GD-100 is +ve and army green? You've also got me thinking of using my GLS100-3 clothes on a GD100MS-1 or GD100-1A.

    Sorry Kev,

I mixed up the GD-100MS-1 and GD-100MS-3... I thought the -3 had the display of the -1.

No probs. Sjors, with the number of G's you own, you must have a kaleidescope of colours coursing through your mind.

    Not gonna happen anytime soon:

"..... the Casio GW-9400-3ER model will be available in 10/15 business days and th other Casio watch you desire will be available in January due to delay in production."

    Very disappointing but interesting.
