Exclamation Read this before purchasing Riseman

I have verified with Seiya that the Japan version of the Riseman only shows temperature in Celsius. For many of you this will be of no consequence, but in the U.S. we are not accustomed to this type of measurement.

I´m wondering if there will be a special version for °F countries.
If casio plans to make a choice in internaltional models, they could keep this also for the homeland version.

    We will face 2 versions?
    -Solar only for °C countries
-Solar Atomic for °F and °C?
At least the atomic version have to be °F ready if it should be sold in the Fort Collins range.

BTW, Casio is also producing the GW-m5500 multiband 5, but not selling it officially in Europe.......

I just spoke with Casio USA and they were confused about my question regarding celsius and fahrenheit. Since the watch is so new, they weren't able to locate it in their system and could not answer my question. The module for this watch is 3145 and I attempted to view the manual for it online, but it is not available. I'll just have to wait until mine arrives to see if it indeed measures only in celsius. (Hopefully Seiya is wrong)

my DW6700s are celcius only. but i love them all the same.

honestly you dont even need to know what it's measuring, the graphs tell you whether the temp and baro are going up or down. which is the most important thing.

    My DW-6700 measures both...

I always wondered why they deprive the Japanese audience of this conversion option?

Its just ridiculus, would the Japanese people get mad at them for introducing F in a time pice?
