    Real Retro

Hi,Not a G but just arrived this morning(another Ebay purchase)and thought some of you guys would like to see it.
It's a 97(I think) reissue of the classic Casiotron, not a minter but very nice and with the bonus of box and paperwork.
How much does it look like a MR-G!
Just had a fresh battery and a bath.

Nice addition to the collection. It's a Hamilton/Pulsar clone, its diffidently cool.

Yes indeed, those are the late 90's Casiotron 'resissues' of Casios first models from circa 1974. Except of course that the module is updated and yours is titanium; that case is almost identical to the original. Good score!

    Thanks!
Do you know if they were made in limited numbers? this is the only one I have ever seen.

Don't know. They called them Astrolon and made several models but you rarely see any of them on ebay. I think they come up on YJ more often. The few I've had have been pretty close to the originals (case-wise) and always well built, especially the bracelets. You probably won't be running into anybody wearing the same watch soon.

Interesting watch. The celtic-looking script is an appealing curiosity...
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Interesting indeed, I never came across/seen this kind of casio before. But from the pics I unable to determine the crystal. Is the crystal above or below the bezel level??

It's just above the level of the bezel and has a bevelled edge.
