    Recommend me a G-Shock

    Hi all,

I am looking to get a G-Shock. The only problem is that there are too many models to choose from! My only requirements are that it be

    1)solar powered
    2)have 4 band atomic timekeeping
    3) $200 or less preferably, although this might be negotiable (with myself!)

I'm assuming all G-Shock are water resistent to 200M so I won't worry about that. I am turning to you experts on this board to help me narrow down my purchase. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

    Steve

My recommendation would be the GW-9100 atomic Gulfman.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

I don't have a Gulfman but I understand they are quite nice.

I do have a GW-5525A and it is excellent.
And several folks here on the forum (including myself) have been able to score the 5525 for a good price 60$ - 65$.

GW-9100 Gulfman if it's to wear anywhere, or GW-9200 Riseman if it's extra features are more important than appearence. I'm not saying the Riseman is bad looking, just that there might be occasions where you're not comfortable with it's gadgety look.
