    Recommend me a G-shock/Casio - current PAW1500 owner

Hi, as the post says, I have an older PAW1500 that I love, however i'm looking to update.
Essentials I use all the time:
    solar charging
    compass
    barometer
    thermometer
    altitude
    world time
    digital face or changeable
The rest i'm ambivalent on, but GPS updating would be cool I think.

    Thanks in advance!

Right off hand either the PRW-3500-1CR or prw-3510... First two are the same model prw- 3500-1cr, the 3rd one is prw-3510 with the STN display sharper better viewing angles. The last one is the newest model with GPS and Bluetooth.

    PRW3000/3100 600/650/6000... sky is a limit
    Rangeman 9400/ Gulfmans
    WSD-F30
Frankly i also would consider (if money not a bottle neck) Tissot T-Touch solar.
There are seriously cool Garmins too from 300$ to again sky is a limit.
    It should be special!

If you can live with charging once 7 to 10 days (via USB, not solar), I would look into Garmin Fenix 3 or 5 series. Fenix 3 (HR) can be had for reasonable price.

I love G-Shocks as much as the next guy does, but Fenix offers great feature package, includes ABC function, GPS feature, activity tracking, heart rate monitor (for F3 HR and later), BT and ANT+ sensor connectivity, BT notification.

I have a Fenix 5X and I used it for all my runs, rides, hikes, travel. Cause it offers a complete package.

Or maybe a Garmin Instinct. It seems to be highly regarded by those who have one.

Oh right, good call. That's actually more "G-Shock like".

    Thanks for the advice.
I need a new running + swimming watch as well, so probably will combine the two and get a fenix variant. silly to spend 200 or 300 on a gshock and the same on a garmin for running + swimming when i can get an all in one. solar charging only was only really needed back when i want in the military, now its very rare im more than a week from power.
    thanks again.

You can always carry power bank or even solar charger with standard USB out so even if you are in the sticks you can charge your smartwatch.
