    Red and silver/ gray G-shocks?

So, if you couldn't tell from my avatar I'm a born and bred Ohio State Buckeye fan... Since I've gotten into collecting G-Shocks, I've wanted a "Buckeye" watch... One that has red and silver on it...

Initially I was planning on getting a clear jelly or White G and dyeing it red, something like the DW-9200 ICERC... Mainly because I wanted to try my hand at making a custom G.

Then, I went and saw this G-8000F which is essentially perfect right out of the box color wise (plus the red LCD digits look pretty sweet)... However, I have a few reservations about it, mainly I feel like it's a little too "hipster" for me (for lack of a better word) and I'm worried it may be too small for my wrist (width wise). I'm also enticed by the red EL on it...

So, how's about it ladies and gents... Are there any other red and silver G's out there that you can recommend?

    Thanks,
    Chris

Here's the first one I thought of:

    G-1010-4A:

The only other current one that I can think of that's close is this one:

    G-9000MX-4:

There's a few old ones that might be good, but are probably going to be hard to find.

    DW-5600GF-4A:

    DW-003XS-4T

    DW-003HH-4T:

Good call atomic, I don't know why I didn't think of that myself. Riley, thanks for the good suggestions...

    Good suggestions all so far!

The G-8000 isn't a small watch. Here it is on my 7.25" wrist (but allow for a little perspective distortion) -

I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Here is one that you could dye a bit to get closer to the Buckeye Colors:

AW591TM-8A ???? At least, I think that is the correct model #.

Hmmm.... I think that may be a good one... Dye that one red and you'd be in business.

EDIT: I dunno though, I guess it would also dye the grey parts, which also look to be a clear grey jelly on the band... hrm. Maybe dye just the bezel red? Or maybe i could source a bezel from the red version of this watch from somewhere....
