Question Removing solar panel from case

    Hey Guys,

I am wondering if anyone knows if the tough solar panels can be removed from the case. I wanted to change the module and the panel from a gw6900a-9 into my black gw6900. That way the text will be blue, the eye will be red and the light button grey, much like the dw6900.

    Thanks.

from my guess, i would think that you can remove the Solar panel from the case as it is not stuck to the hard plastic structure of the watch that protects the module.

however, as i don't own a gw-6900, it might be better to wait for a few more responses.
    i own a tough solar G-5600 though.

Why don't you just order a GW6900 black strap and bezel from Casio and change them out with your yellow ones? I just did this and it looks great. It took about 8 weeks for the bezel to finally come from Casio USA (they had the strap back in October but the bezel was on backorder), but it came this week and I like the look a lot. I will probably just go ahead and sell the yellow bezel and strap in the spring.

Maybe a little stealth action on the black bezel with some Goof-Off?
    Regards from Texas,
