Thumbs Up A replacement GWG-1000-1A is on the way.....

I sent my GWG-1000-1A back to Amazon today because it had a number etched into the back that I've never seen before and Casio could not explain. I directed Amazon to put the refund into my Amazon account vice to my original form of payment. They said I'd get it within hours of the return arriving this way, and it was even better!!! I only dropped it off with UPS today, and I got my refund already!! Kudos to Amazon on that amazingly fast turn-around!!

My next quandary was to decide if I would order the GWG-1000-1A again, or possibly the GWG-1000-1A3 instead. I really thought for a minute that I'd get the 1A3. But after looking back and forth at photos of the two (and btw I've owned both before!), I am just so into the cool beige-colored markers and accents of the 1A!! So it's incoming again! Should have it Wednesday. Let's hope this one is free from odd numbers etched into the case back! (if you're interested in the back story on that, see my post here: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f17/gw...l#post48949049 )

The first tell-tale sign that you're a G-addict is if you make that mistake. Which is why I did as well.

Glad things worked out with the exchange, T4P! Memorable customer service goes a long way, even longer than discounted prices in my book.

These days I feel much better with Amazon than eBay and your recent easy experience only confirms this preference.

Wear this new beauty in good health.
