    Replacement Strap Holder

    Hello all,

I am new to the forums and have one simple request.

How is it that I can replace the little rectangular piece that holds the strap in place.

It is beginning to tear and I want to replace it before it breaks.

    I own a G9010-1, Casio Men's G-Shock G9010-1 Rubber Quartz Watch with Grey Dial: Watches: Amazon.com

    All help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    1. Find the holes on each side of the buckle that hold the spring bar in place.
    2. Poke one of the holes where the spring bar is with something skinny.
    3. Slide the hole clasp off, keep an eye on all the pieces.
    4. Remove band keeper, replace it.
    5. Put the little metal piece that actually pokes through the band in between where it should be.
    6. Slide spring bar in.
    7. Get spring bar into one of the holes on clasp.
    8. Place other end of spring bar on the part where the clasp is widest, slowly slide to narrower part to retract the spring.
    9. Find hole, insert other end of spring bar.
    10. Open the door
    11. Get on the floor

    Thanks G-shocks,

I am most concerned with step 4. I can't seem to find a way to purchase only the band keeper, which is the only part I need replaced. All of my searches lead me to entire replacement bands, which is not what I need. Any way you know of that will allow me to buy just the band keeper by itself?

    Thank you.

With a ruler that gives you mm, measure the width of the strap where the buckle is...
