Review of the Electronika 55, the Soviet "basic" Casio out.

I noticed some people on this board enjoy the pictures of my Belurussian Electronikas, so I thought to post a link to the comparative review I've written of the two watches, the other being the F-84W that I used as a baseline for the "classic" module 593 watch.

    I hope you like it.

I love the trimmer function accessible via the menus and not a PITA to adjust screw in the module. Great idea.

I am quite surprised Casio never thought about it, right now I developed the right patience to regulate vintage G shocks, but theoretically speaking everytime I open then I should replace the o-ring to ensure water resistance.

How is that possible that in a communist country they had such a bright idea and it was never copied or studied?

The accuracy of my two 30th anniversarsary watches is poor (+0.5 sec/day) but I fear to scratch the commemorative casebacks, so I don't use them as much as my GW-5000 for instance.
