Riseman and the Columbia County Fair - Part III (Long)

Another Riseman shot -- just to keep us "relevant"!

    Night started to fall:

I visited the EMS guys and got some ice for a particularly nasty hornet sting. (They were great; sorry I couldn't get a clear picture):

Lemurs from the travelling zoo that sets up at the Fair every year:

A monkey who looked like he wanted to be elsewhere:

    Kangaroos:

Some of the rides at night -- as seen through my cheap little point and shoot Casio Digital Camera:

What is a county fair without cotton candy?

Finally, a shot of the whole family:

    Cool pics Kronos,

Seems you shared us a great day at the fair. You've got a cute looking family. By the way, here they serve cotton candy on sticks. Much easier to eat without getting sticky hands.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

Thanks Sjors. It is often served on paper sticks here as well. But my daughter seemed to get a whole BAG somehow!

Nice photos! Looks like good times.

Did you test the Riseman's altimeter on the ferris wheel?

You look pretty well for someone who got stung by a hornet. I always thought those guys were dangerous.
