    Question Riseman comparison request please

    Hi guys,

I have been looking at picking up a Riseman or rangeman for a while now but am having trouble sizing it. I can't put my hands on one before ordering so I'm trying to get a feel for size via comparison pictures. Right now I own a G-Shock 7900a, Luminox 3001, 3950, Suunto core and citizen aqualand. If any of you could be so kind as to snap a few comparison pics if you have any of those models next to your Riseman that would be much appreciated. Also semi interested in the rangeman since it appears very similar to the Riseman just a hair larger. Or if you have a measuring tape you could lay across them as im mainly interested in bezel diameter etc. just don't want to swamp my wrist or have it be too small. I used to own an old grey/Orange mudman but it didn't work out for me and felt a bit small.

    any pictures are appreciated folks!

    thanks for your time,

    Harrison

Hey thanks Mike! So would you guys say the Riseman is on the smaller side of gshocks? I might have to lean towards the rangeman but I just don't know what to do lol

before 20 other members jumping in to advise you to get the Rangman, I am telling you NOW: get the riseman, mudman or anything but the rangeman
    because the rangeman
    1/ has fake screws
    2/ imitates the riseman
3/ more expensive than it should
4/ everyone in here has one or more, but me and Mike

As I understood you had Mudman 9300 " men in smoky grey" . Here is comparison photo of Riseman 9200 and Mudman 9300 "Initial blue". If Mudman was small, for sure Riseman will be small too.

It imitates the Riseman but it DOES have the newer, "version 3" sensors, which helps explain the higher price.

If I still had uncorrected 20/20 vision and hadn't discovered the larger displays on Casio's Pathfinder/Pro Trek models, I might have bought a Rangeman! (Realistically, though, living in central Ohio with barely any elevation changes, I don't really NEED the ABC functions although they're fun to play around with. If Casio made a "basic" G-Shock with an even bigger display than the MTG-900, I probably would have bought one!)

Thanks for the pic. But actually that doesn't look like my mudman did, I think I had the older version....it was grey with orange accents and fairly small. G9000 mx8 I believe

The Riseman is the smallest in diameter yet it has awful symmetry with the large sensor protruding making it look very unbalanced and large.
