    Off topic Sakura (Part I)

Today I took a few photos of the Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) which were in full bloom around my neighborhood. It's always a great pleasure to take a walk around and see them, and of course to celebrate their beauty with the locals. But as many of you may know, Sakura unfortunately never lasts very long, usually only around a week or so, then they fall. It's no wonder why the Japanese go out and celebrate Hanami as soon as they get the chance, be it in the daytime or night, on a weekday after work or on the weekend.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pics...

    Re: Sakura

    beautiful flowers and city!
I'm very curious about the view and culture of our neighbor country--Japan.
One of my friend has got an offer of Sony and he is going to work in Tokyo this autumn, maybe i'll visit Japan by then.
BTW: Are these photo shot in Tokyo?

:thanks mate! We actually have some rain and cooler conditions now so I fear they will drop sooner than predicted. I'll make the most of the festivities tomorrow and wait patiently for the season to come again same time next year...
