    Question Same Size? ....

Is this baby g the same size as a 5600?

    Robot Check

If so, then why do they call it a baby g?

No, it's not. The Baby G line is smaller and is one of several G-Shock lines that were targeted and marketed towards women.

    The "Baby G" that you linked: Size ( H×W × D ) / mass: 44.7 x 40 x 12.5 mm / 43 g [ sunknots | Rakuten Global Market: BGD-5020-4JR Casio Baby-G fs04gm ]

The "normal" 5600's aren't all the same size and vary SLIGHTLY -- you might have seen the "5600 size chart" that shows which bezels and straps fit which models.

    But picking the "basic" DW-5600E size as a comparision: 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4mm / 54g [ DW5600E-1V - G-Shock, Mens, Tough, Water Resistant, Analog, Digital, Watches | CASIO America, Inc. ]

I'm amazed that multiband can fit in anything smaller than the non baby g.

Well...I try, but I can also think of a few threads where that wasn't true....

...usually when someone's opinions crash into the provable facts, as with generalities about positive vs. negative displays, or with countries changing time zones and DST dates.

    But I'll keep on trying!
