    Santa stopped by the house......

He wasn't in his usual red sleigh, it was a funny looking white little truck. Anyway, he said I was a very good man and gave me a early gift.

I couldn't capture the very light (IMO) camo face, I really like the dark grey with the black lettering. I had to try a ana/dig g shock.

I gotta tell ya, these g shocks are kinda addicting. It's a good clean habit though. Santa told me there'd be another next week as well...can't wait.

He was bitten by the bug. There's a James Bond Reference there for those who know. :)

    Very nice Oldbugr.

I can see the camo, now that you mentioned it.

I really like that color combo and the positive display.

The all black one is called the Black Night that one must be the Moonlight Knight.

I think you will like it.

You know what's the funniest thing about this model of G-shock? It has the word "Mach" on the bottom edge of the left LCD. It serves really no purpose in any of the watch functions. And no, the watch can't go even Mach 1, unless you're wearing it in a fighter plane!

What keeps me from buying the GA100 is its battery life. It's rated for 2 years life by Casio. Not only that, it's using not 1 but 2 batteries inside! For me, anything less than 3 years battery life is not acceptable.

Edit, sorry I was confused with another watch model, the GA100 uses only 1 battery, a CR1220.

Actually the "Mach" written there is related to speed measurements the watch can perform.

2 year battery life rated is correct but it will go longer unless you are a constant button pusher.

Why is that a problem? I keep batteries around for many different watches, they are about $1 each on ebay for Energizer Lithium CR1220 and it takes about 5 minutes to change. I keep a record of all of my battery powered watches of what battery they use and when it was last changed.

    I like mine.
