    Coincidence! Same here kiwidj.
With the Grand Prix coming, how can I possibly not wear my team shirt and a red watch?

G8000-1, another new quirky G for me today. This has got to be one of the most perfectly sized and shaped G-Shocks I've ever come across. The only other G I have that comes close is my GW5600J. The 8000 has the full amount of info on the home time page, time, day, date, month, year and some cool counting segments that run around the left and top of the display. Nice large size digits with a softish blue/green backlight. The rounded section on the bottom right is an led warning light which flashes with any alarms that have been set. The buttons are larger than a 5600 and are easy to press but not by accident as it has small semi circular button protectors.

Of all the G's I've bought this has surprised me the most, I thought this would just be a novelty G for me that I would put to one side and not wear again but it is so much more than that. It wears so perfectly and has so much good design in such a cool, funky looking package that I will definitely be looking for more. I'm going to post some wrist shots as well, it is larger than you would think, it's slightly larger and much chunkier than a DW5600E.
