    In a search of GIEZ

    Hello there,

I would like to buy a new GIEZ model ( strictly analog) with module 5040 or 5060 ( solar/radio or non).
I saw there are few in Rakuten for 275 USD and in ebay for the same price but still out of EU.
I am concerned about the Customs taxes.

    Any other ideas where from?
    Thanks guys.

You should keep looking, if you are patient you might get a good deal on ebay. I was lucky to snatch an all black gs1300 on ebay from a very nice girl from California for $150, I was the only bidder, the watch was never worn-it was still set on Tokyo time when I got it-you will not regret it, it is among the best G's ever made in regards to quality and make, not to mention screwback, and those modules (5040, 5060) are by far the best analogs Casio ever made and all they had been doing since with analog Gs is not even close. If you don't get all giddy and excited with countdown timer on these watches, you do not deserve to be called a g-shock fan or a geek (basically the same thing, I think). Just think that you get the same functionality and similar quality to a MRG8100 which costs about 10 times more. Just go for it....

Try searching at Yahoo Japan Auction.

I picked one up (GS-1150) off ebay a year or so ago - snagged it for about £100, as new condition. They're nice -great feel, weight, soft band, cool features. Worth taking the time to find a a nice one, so be patient and keep looking. Good luck.
