Question Searching for a special spare part

    Hey there,

i search now for a couple of days for a special part. inside the buckle there are 2 small springs (about 8mm long and 0,9mm wide). where can i get those? when i was buying the watch, one of the springs was missing

I dont think that you can source this spring as a spare from Casio.

But you can try to use our usual forum workaround for missing tiny springs:
Try to use the spring out of a spring bar.

You should source some springbars anyway since the one on your photo looks bended!

    hi,

ive got some experience with these kind of repairs and they usually dont hold that long. see if you can find a complete clasp for the bracelet is my advice...

    Good luck

    for the Watch:
    16mm
For use as spare: try an average one like 20mm, you can shorten the spring later if you like.
If you buy new 16mm, you can sacrifice the old bended ones for a spare.

If you buy new spring bars for donating the spring:
There are 2 different diameters, try both.
My guess is that the thicker spring bars spring migth fit better.
A spring bar should cost almost nothing.

I used new 16mm and worked fine for me. I also ordered 20mm to get the spring. Had to shorten it, but it´s still a bit big in diameter... but it worked.
afterwards i cleaned the watch in a ultrasonic-bath and now it looks better agin. Name: 20160213_173809.jpg
