    Seiko automatics/ G lovers !!

I love all watches, have about 50 of quartz and mechanical.
Seiko mechanicals are well known and respected, (Orange Monster, etc).
Many countries do not have wide availability of the various batteries
used in quartz watches, so mechanicals are handy.
You would really enjoy an article on ThePurist.com, that is an
in-depth review of the 7S26 movement. This site deals with High End
watches, but "8ohms", a very good watchmaker, reviews this movement
and Loves it !. It is simple, efficient, and sturdy. This review is found
in the reviews "In Depth" section.
    It's a good read, and,actually a great, friendly, site.
I recently posted a topic as Larry Larkin, in the "watch rap" forum
entitled "out of the closet", in which I asked who owned a G-shock
and would admit it !. Got some great responses.
    Check Them out, LL

Every watch have to be respected..
    and every human too....

The Purist it's a well known website....

It explain that a good mouvement like 7s26
it's used both into seiko monsters (watches that costs from
220$ for standard models to 500$ or more for LE models)
than into watches like Seiko SNK805K2 (67$ watch) military style watch...

So i think we cannot find a watch better than another....

talking about kind of mouvement or talking about shape
    and fashion.....
    So...
It depends only by our personal Taste........

    Respect man

I got into Sekio automatics (7S26) before I got into G-Shocks. I see a bit of similarity there. Same (similar?) movements in $50 watches as $200 watches. It's all good.

I just saw the Seiko (Orange Monster) at a local discount store that had it for sale, 40% off. I didn't get a chance to ask someone for the price because my fiance caught me looking in the watch display and gave me that (don't you dare get another watch ) look . Can someone tell me the retail price of this watch (sorry for going a little off topic).

Depending on if it's with the rubber strap or steel bracelet, but I believe they're around $375 and $400/$425-ish, respectively...

Going for about $180 for the bracelet version and $171 for the rubber strap version on amazon.com.
