Off topic Seiko Sawtooth (Modem Burner!)

Hey guys! I Spend the majority of my time on this forum so I wanted to share with you my new toy. It's my first Seiko. First impressions: She's a big beaut at 47mm w/o the crown! I'm really digging the bezel. It's more of a gun metal black. I replaced the s/s bracelet for a Modena strap & have a Zulu on its way. I now know what all the hype is about on Seiko's famous lume. It's crazy... You need sunglasses just to view it at night!

Here's some down & dirty shots:

The lume on Seikos is excellent but a couple of hours in the dark and I'm usually rooting for the torch/mobile phone

Thanks for the photos. I really like the strap you got on there where did you get the watch and rubber strap, how much was the strap and was it hard to change it. Did it come with the steel braclet lots of questions but I really like the Sawtooth and plan on getting one

    :thanks guys!

    Hi Jerry,

I'm glad you like it. You're definitely in for a treat when you get it... I got both the watch & band from the Bay. I got the watch from here: http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/esstek
I got the Modena strap here for $11.23: http://cgi.ebay.com/20mm-Modena-Ital...1|293:1|294:50
I really like it. It's 5mm thick. It wasn't hard to change at all. I was careful with a small straight slot jeweler's screwdriver. I used the spring bars that were originally on the bracelet because they are pretty heavy duty.

Now that's a beauty! I have a wavy blue dial myself w/ bracelet, and love it. The lume on this is better than the monster. :thanks for sharing the awsome pics. Hong
