    for the seiya fans

for the fans of seiya who may not have visited his site in a while....

his website has undergone a little redesign, he continues blogging, and most endearingly... he has taken quite well to twitter (posts a good number of pictures and watch links). seiyajapan.com as always.

Some of his prices are OK. but some G shock are out of line like the Mudman GW 9010 he has it for 243 and amazon 136 100 less from amazon. You just have to check with all sellers first. Higuchi saved me almost 50 on my Tuna over seiya

I enjoy both Seiya's and Higuchi's blogs. Watch stuff mixed in with little bites of daily Japanese life. Good stuff.

I really like those Seiko Springdrives that he has on site. Maybe I need to make a Youtube video like the guy wanting G Shocks.

I was under impression that he sells "made in japan" only and Amazon sels "made in taiwan" variants... if true that explains price difference and some still pay more for "made in japan"...

    I could be wrong thou.

But you're right... almost ALWAYS higuci will beat seiya on price (kinda strange since he also has brick and mortar store so one would think that his stuff costs more... but it does not...)

I also like how Higuci takes CC and seiya is only paypal.

    Cheers

Oh yes he sometimes sells some good watches even if not made in Japan, but in those cases he says it very clearly on the site so that nobody can miss the information.

I'm not crazy about his prices...he's not competitive there.

    +1

Great photos, and as always it's up to the buyer to decide if his prices are in line with what one is willing to pay.

    Cheers...
