why cant you use Casio adapters, is the lug wider than 16mm?

Ouch, and sorry to hear about that! :-(

You really might want to post this over in the (huge) https://www.watchuseek.com/f17/shapeways-gshock-strap-adapters-anyone-tried-them-974579.html where more people (and future customers) are more likely to see it, especially with a quick Google search.

Keoni, the person who designed the adapters, is also more likely to find out about the problem (and perhaps correct it) if you post it there!

I don't know my analog G's that well, but if that's a GA-100 or -110, the lug IS 16mm and "normal" Casio adapters fit nicely. https://www.watchuseek.com/f17/ga100-nato-strap-conversion-complete-441874.html

that sucks, i guess the material used to to make the adaptor can't survive the test of life's ingredients
As 3D printing evolves, there are a lot of different materials that can be used -- I'm guessing that this particular "strong and flexible nylon plastic" is working too hard on "strong" and not hard enough on "flexible." ;-)
