    Off topic Singapore to Ipoh

Anyone have any bright ideas? I've though of Firefly, but all their flights seem to always be booked. MASs website isn't showing the option to fly into Ipoh for some reason. I found the following as well, although I don't know how up-to-date they are:

Largest Online Coach / Bus Tickets Portal- Singapore to and fro Malaysia

KTM Train Timetable and Fare | Malaysia Travel Guide

If I go, my flight would land at 00:45 at Changi. Can't get into KL as my airmiles/airline only lets me get to Singapore.

    Ideas appreciated.

What a strange coincidence! I did this journey in reverse 5 days ago!

I'm doing an overland journey so I went for the train. 10 hours for 48 ringgets. Apparently it's the dollar amount to go the other way so $48 I guess.

The train was comfortable enough in second class. Just take things to keep you occupied!

Apparently the buses are faster (7 hours), but I guess it just comes down to your preference. Either way, its a reasonably painless journey - just expect the train to get you in a bit late!

Nice one. Did you spend time in Ipoh or were you just passing through.

Anyone know if there are coaches from Singapore airport into Malaysia?

    None whatsoever.

Bad season for travel between Singapore and Malaysia at this time of the year. Almost everything is fully booked....including rental cars.
