I remember "Master of G" posted that before. There were 2 different "silver" models. Does it really look different, except for the model number and module number?

    Cheers,

Antonis, have a closer look at the back of your ANTMAN B-), it's not GW-1000 but GW-100Q :-D.Indeed there are the GW-100-1JF, GW-100Q-1JF (both red letters) and the hard to find GW-100-9JF with golden letters.

If I remember correctly the Q receives at 60KHz, the other 2 at 40KHZ....

Anywayz, the ANTMAN still rules and is my favorite !

    Hi Master,

Do you mean there was a model for the North Island and a model for the South Island of Japan?

BTW funny G-Shock forum banner on your website. I changed it myself to match it by the colors of mine. I believe this one is the original:

Here you have the editted, maybe it's a bigger size...

    Cheers,

Hi Sjors, yes indeed....just the south-point was out of reach.

This belongs to the 'south' model:

the one for the 'north' model I have at home but not as image....maybe I can scan it sometime.

Very interesting matter. You have a manual. Mine were both without. Not that my Japanes is so fantastic...

Have you already bought a new camera? Check the Café, there are some photo threads (Berlin Botanic Garden, film camera's) active lately.

    Cheers

Yes, it simply is the q version. I liked them so much, I got one of each. It is a bit chunky on the wrist, what with the antenna hump. However, the rolling digits make it worthwhile. And the Q model even syncs once and a while in ny. In general, the japanese 60hz atomic watches are very inconsistent, sometimes they sync for two days in a row, and then nothing for a week or more. I am sure there is a scientific reason for it, but alas, I have too many other scientific things to worry about now .

Sure would be nice if they would reissue a solar version of it. Or at least add the rolling digits to another watch.
