Looks like a Casio test piece.

Fair play to the last owner, they obviously used it a lot.
I'd cry if mine looked like that though.

That's awesome, looks like the previous owner thoroughly enjoyed the watch. That's the way to do it. And the great thing about this for the next owner is that you don't have to worry about ding/dent/scratches anymore .. LOL

The MRG-8100 is the last slim profile MRG before Casio moved to a thicker bigger case for their GPS models. It wears quite comfortable on the wrist for smaller wrist size.

Yeah, it's a $1,000 premium for the finish.
    WES51 and Ottovonn like this.
"When the shadow of the sash appeared in the curtains it was between seven and eight o'clock and then I was in time again, hearing the watch. It was Grandfather's and when Father gave it to me he said I give you the mausoleum of all hope and desire.... I give it to you not that you may remember time, but that you might forget it now and then for a moment and not spend all your breath trying to conquer it."

Shabby chic!, I prefer to add my own custom patina over the years, some of the best dings on my Casios all have a story that I like to remember
