Off topic So I finally got settled in my new home (almost) Some pictures... modem warmer?

Maybe some of you remember that me and the gf were moving back to Sweden from a 4 year stay in Ireland.
What a project to get all things sorted out. Closing down Irish accounts and opening new accounts in Sweden for phones etc..
We finally managed to get a apartment with views over the mountains and a skislope
Also invested in a 4wd car... yaaahooo... got a car!!! We didnt have a car during the 4 years inte ireland becuase of the insane insurance costs.
Ive been at my new job for 3 weeks and I love it! the building I work in is located on a "hill" top inside the Campus area.
Work is really challenging and Im challenged every day in my thinking. Thats mainly why I accepted this position because of the constant challenge.. (just hope that I can keep it up! LOL)

Oh.. and.. the keys to my 2 x watch suitcase (see previous threads) are still missing in the move.. So I cant change watch! HAve to take a good look this weekend and find them!

    Some pictures from the office....
This is one of our smaler attenas (we have 13 bigger ones and a bunch of small ones)

And this is our launchpad for sending up rockets

    View from my office window

Santa parked some of his friends outside the gate

Small ski slope that we see from our apartment... 10min walk to it.

    Yes we got snow! Wooohooooo

    and Ice...

Will try and come back to the forum now when we finally are settled.. been so much the last two months so I havent really had any time to spend online

    Take care for now

Nice pics from Kiruna. You are working on the space-base Esrange, right? I really miss the snow here in Stockholm. It has just come a little snow here the recent week but nothing more.

Absolutely beautiful, there's nothing like living somewhere like that to make life seem that much better!

It will seem even nicer when you find your keys!

Fantastic pictures, and good to hear how things are going.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

    Hi Cutepape,

Great to see you again. I hope you are already a bit settled there. Those are great photo's. I needed a rocket specialist about 6 years ago. I had two girls here that built rockets and rocket fuel.... It was fun, but also very dangerous (specially a powdersugar/KNO3/magnesium mixture).

Great pictures. You live ina great neighborhood. I don't think you will ever regret moving

Have you seen the new 450D specs... I bought my camera a little too soon I think. 12MPixel and liveview. That is what I miss on a tripod.

    Cheers,

    Sjors
